Time For A New Logo
Since the launch of my website, I have tried to brand my art alongside my passion to promote mental health awareness. Initially, I chose the Japanese Divinity ‘Ojizo-sama’ to represent my work, however, more recently I felt there was something missing.

Gary from naturaloutlook.com (a Digital Design / Branding Specialist) came up with my new logo: The head represents ‘being’ – mind and body; the large square background – my art; and the multi-dimensional squares – the complexity of ‘being’ – subtly drawing on their irregular alignment, as with life and mental health.

Launch of New Look, Responsive Website:

After a lot of hard work, I am happy to announce the launch of my new look website, with special thanks to Gary’s Digital Design Work at – www.naturaloutlook.com who customised the site for me, and took photographs of my art work for the gallery.

To keep up with new technology, the website is fully responsive across all mobiel media and hosts many new features including the new focus on mental health, merchandise and a ‘new look’ gallery.

Gary is a Digital Art Director + Communications Strategist with 11 years of industry experience with clients such as Mercedes Benz, Royal Bank Canada, Bayer Pharmaceuticals and many other key industry leaders. He has worked on everything from website design to digital marketing, photography, editorial, writing, brand development and digital strategic marketing. A big thankyou to everyone who attended my solo gallery show ‘BEING’. All the hard work paid off and the event proved a hugh success, with over 120 people attending the open evening and several art pieces sold. More importantly, the gallery show helped raise awareness towards The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre and Youth Mental Health Awareness, with a portion of proceeds being donated to the organisation.

Many people commented* that they really enjoyed the evening, there was a great atmosphere, thanks in part to a classy event space (Bizune), great music (DJ Flohback), and delicious food (Yorkshire Pudding & Toshi Sushi), which all came together to show my art work in the best light, so a big thankyou to everyone involved.

A great milestone and start of new adventures to come. Thank you so much for everyone who came and showed support. I am so grateful and appreciative of those who were always there and helped me along the way (I can not express this enough).

“What People Are Saying.”

“I woke up thinking about the art show. It was a lovely evening and a great space. Great idea on the DJ too. It was an awesome end of week mood. Congrats to you guys for selling stuff. It’s not easy for sure. Great show!”.
Vanessa, Art Director.

“I think you have lots to be proud of, Thursday’s event was a real success. I can’t wait to see the photos”.
Danny Floh Back, Director. DJ Floh Back Productions.

Special Thanks to:
David and Lauren from Oink & Coo Event photography they did a superb job at capturing the evening with their creative images, they are lovely people, so if you have an event coming up and need a photographer get in touch!.

Canada Post Mental Health Awareness Stamp in Print.

I got word recently that the winning stamp for the mental health awareness stamp competition will be out on September 6th. Although I did not win the main stamp design, all of the the finalists designs were printed on the outer booklet and annual Canada Post stamp magazine (see images to right). Also I have decided to donate the money won from being a finalist in the competition towards the Eating Disorders Clinic here in Toronto.

Thank you again for those who supported and voted for my stamp design (left):
